Vertical Hydroponic Tower Garden Kit

Grow a whole salad bar in the footprint of a single floor tile. This vertical tower stacks thirty planting holes around a central column while a quiet built-in pump lifts nutrient water to the top and lets it trickle back down past every root, so almost no water is wasted. You germinate leafy greens on grow sponges, nest them in net cups packed with clay pebbles, and watch lettuce, spinach and basil climb the tower week after week. It turns a tiny balcony or a corner of the classroom into a living lesson on how cities can feed themselves with less land and far less water.

What you'll learn

• Assemble a working recirculating hydroponic system and trace how water moves from the tank, up through the pump, and back down past every plant
• Germinate leafy seeds on grow sponges and transplant the seedlings into net cups with clay pebble media
• Mix and dose an A plus B nutrient solution and keep the pH and TDS inside the healthy range for leafy greens
• Compare how much floor space, water and time vertical farming uses against growing the same crops in flat soil beds

Extend & innovate

Wire the tower into the smart-farm track: add an ESP32, a TDS sensor and a waterproof temperature probe to log nutrient strength and water temperature and drive the pump on a timed cycle. Try strawberries or mint in some holes to see which crops love the tower most, and run a side-by-side trial against a flat soil pot to measure the water you saved.
